About

The Arbor is a Christian, classical homeschooling cooperative which meets for a variety of classes in Clifton Park on Tuesdays. Arbor families believe homeschooling provides the optimal means to fulfilling the Lord’s command “…to bring their children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). We also recognize that some important academic subjects present many parents with daunting challenges, causing some to grow weary, or even give up on home-based education. The Arbor, as its name implies, is a gathering together to encourage and empower families, providing a place where what is difficult to do alone can be accomplished together.

For since 2002, we have tackled tough subjects such as Latin, Spanish, logic, literature, art, economics, and various sciences and histories. Some of these classes have been taught by Arbor parents and some by hired instructors. Every family contributes in some way.

We have very limited openings for the 2019 – 2020 school year.  Interested families must interview with the steering committee before signing up for classes.  Please use the “contact us” link to make an appointment with the steering committee.  Please include the grades of your children so we can see if there is room in their class.
